The backflow testing process checks your plumbing to ensure dirty water does not infiltrate the drinking water supply. This can happen if the system loses pressure.
Testing is due annually by July 30th, and failure to provide acceptable test results by the due date may result in fines. Sprinkler systems are required to have a backflow prevention device.
Testing & Reporting
- Choose a certified tester – see list below – and schedule a backflow test.
- Blank form to provide to your certified tester – Backflow Prevention Assembly Test Report
- Email a photo of the completed Backflow Report to cid19BAT@gmail.com
Please refrain from calling to see if we’ve received your report – we’re entering them as quickly as possible and will send out a second notice after the July 30 deadline calling for any missing reports.
